This former city home of financier J. Pierpont Morgan attracts brokers and bankers who work in the area. A recent restoration has authentically created the atmosphere of a private club. Three dining rooms, a restored mahogany bar and 1920s-style opulence recall a Wall Street of old. The French menu features upscale bistro fare, including a salad with duck and walnut oil, and fennel-smoked brook trout for lighter appetites. There is also filet mignon and rack of lamb, as well as a good wine list.
