Located in the heart of the Theater District, this colorful budget hotel and hostel is popular with students. The 9-story pre-war building features 126 newly renovated rooms. The area is great for the variety of eating choices, and is around the corner from Restaurant Row (on 46th Street). One drawback is the lack of private baths and showers, though that does help keep prices to a minimum.
