Although the interiors display understated elegance with candle-lit dinner tables, linens and paintings, the ambience is energetic with loud live music and a crowded bar. The 85-seater restaurant serves traditional Cuban cuisine like tamal cubano, pinchos 12, ensalada de la casa 6, pollo guajira 15, vaca frita 16, flan de leche, and many more, as well as latin specialities. The bar with its collection of assorted wines and liquors is one of the main attractions. A special treat is to watch the cigar roller - Marcos Lopez - in action. Tuesdays are Bolero nights. Of course, you could make some special person happy by presenting them with Azucar gift certicficates - available in $50, $100, $200 and $500.
