The BAM Howard Gilman Opera House has played host to some of the best artists (Crouch, Susan Marshall and Steve Reich) and acts from around the globe. Dance, opera and theatre - this place promotes it all. After it was completely ravaged by fire, the opera house was shifted to Fort Greene in 1908.
