This dark and smooth bar has a serious Latin flare, with DJs spinning salsa and urban grooves nightly. Bartenders tend to do their best with the Latin theme, serving up affordable, top-notch mojitos and caprihanas to a mix of East Village loungers and Latino cocktail drinkers. Baraza is located on the formerly seedy Avenue C, but in recent years the block has morphed into one of the trendiest areas in Manhattan. Payment is in cash only.
