This hip Nolita bike shop has won all sorts of awards, and has a large following of devotees that claim it is the best store of its kind in the city. The staff (all hip cyclists themselves) are knowledgeable and helpful about the wide selection of mountain bikes, road bikes and cruisers on hand. Custom built bikes can be ordered. The store also carries a good selection of accessories and gear. Travelers Note: some of the lower-end models are also available for rent for $25 a day.
