If you do not know who Bird is, this place may not be for you (he was famed jazz player Charlie Parker). It is all about the music at this serious Midtown jazz club. There is normally not a cover, but there are enforced drink and seating minimums. It costs less to sit in the dark, plainly decorated bar area, but consider getting a table and trying the spicy Southern cooking. The sirloin steak with gravy and the pork medallions with collared greens are worth trying.
