This longtime French bistro has a tradition of caring service and excellent food. In the softly lit space, framed oil paintings, fresh flowers, pastel linens and well-spaced tables contribute to a serene atmosphere. The prix-fixe menu ($35) is the best way to experience the food. Appetizers include Ravioli du Chef, which is stuffed with spinach and ricotta, basil and tomatoes. The namesake Le Boeuf a la Mode is braised beef marinated in red wine and served with vegetables.
