In an area of town packed with high-priced restaurants, Candela serves good, eclectic New American food at moderate prices. They do not skimp on the service or decor either—the interior is filled with candles, of course, which illuminate a spacious loft with cozy red brick walls and medieval style chandeliers. The selection of unusual pasta dishes stands out, but there is also an excellent rack of lamb. Make a reservation if you want a table on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.
