Far cleaner and mellower than its famous next door brother CBGB, 313 is a bar, gallery and performance space populated by hipsters that are not up for the rowdier scene next door. Performances vary from the avant-garde to the low-key and include musicians, poets and performance artists. The art shows are always interesting, but not always very good. Cover charges vary, so call for information. Cash only.
