Founded in 1985, the Central Park SummerStage has become one of the premier summer arts festivals in New York. Running during the summer months and offering performances of classical and contemporary music, dance, spoken word and opera, New Yorkers from all five boroughs flock to the park to relax and enjoy the free show.
