Rumor has it that chef Federic Piepenburg has trouble parting with his creations, which include beautiful gingerbread houses, and luscious black forest cake. As cook and head pastry chef, he creates everything on the menu and even takes customer's orders. He is quite a sight with his tall hat and curled white beard. Brunches are substantial and include omelets and French toast; dinners are enjoyed by candlelight, making it a romantic spot to visit.
