Chinese restaurants are commonplace in this city, but one as high caliber as Chiam is rare. It offers delicious, varied and fully flavored dishes, a wonderful ambiance with flowers on the tables and excellent service. Cantonese standards like fried rice, dim sum and Peking duck are available, as are items representing other regions-sliced marinated beef in oyster sauce, lobster with hot chili sauce, and steamed lotus-wrapped chicken. Shredded Chicken with Chinese Broccoli, Mandarin Orange Beef and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce are also popular.
