The Chins (James and Wally) have created a Chinese restaurant that exudes style and sophistication. There are two dining rooms - one is a white, minimalist space, the other decorated with portraits of ancestral Chins. Both the wine list and service are not normally strong points of Chinese restaurants in New York, but on both counts Chin Chin impresses. The food-including pork, duck and seafood-is of exceptional quality, but at a price. A meal with wine is likely to cost from about $45, but it is definitely worthwhile.
