A fully functional congregation since 1805, the present brick chapel was built in 1880 and has witnessed the amazing transformations of the surrounding city. Not only are the building and grounds rather quaint for a New York City church, but they also host an amazing music series year round that includes everything from opera companies to chamber music. Performances happen throughout the week, as well as during regular Sunday and weekday worship services. Check the Web site for a schedule of their music program.
