Christer Larsson, of Aquavit restaurant fame, has established a very attractive and relaxing alternative to stuffy dining in Midtown. His honest and excellent Swedish-style cuisine served in a whimsical Nordic setting by attentive waitpersons is worth going out of your way to enjoy. From the smorgasbord appetizers to the rich, full-flavored desserts (and perhaps with some cocktails, schnapps or aquavit along the way), this restaurant is a constant, happy chain of surprising pleasures. Smoked fish is a specialty, as is the crab chowder.
