This imposing and elegant Episcopalian Church, which is one of the city's finest examples of neo-gothic architecture, contrasts wildly with the nearby garishness of the Times Square area. Built in 1895, the solemn and ornate interior serves as an oasis amid Midtown's hustle and bustle. There are no official tours, but there is usually someone willing to show you around following Sunday Mass (which goes from around 11am until about 12:45pm).
