This congregation has been worshiping since 1807. The present church was designed by architect Robert W. Gibson and completed in 1891. Sculpted in the Romanesque-Byzantine style, the stained glass is one reason to make sure you visit this church. It houses an impressive collection by some of the leading artisans of the medium. The centerpiece is Louis Comfort Tiffany's "St. Michael's Victory in Heaven". There is also a music season consisting of choral and organ recitals.
