This Second Avenue multiplex is always crowded with a mixture of New York University students and local residents. In keeping with the diverse neighborhood, the selection of films varies from the newest blockbuster to the latest independent film. The theatre itself is very pleasant, though not as impressive as newer multiplexes. Tickets are usually available on weekdays, but on weekends it is usually best to call and order in advance. The regular price for adults is $10.
