Yes, it is possible to go horseback riding in Manhattan. Located near Central Park, where most sporting people are rollerblading or jogging, this riding academy provides equestrian instruction and rentals for the park. Provisions are also made for leasing and boarding horses. Lessons are available by the half-hour for $50, three lessons for $125 or an hour's rental for $45.
