Formerly a Howard Johnson, this low-cost hotel is now part of the Clarion chain. Although it boasts a Park Avenue address, it is in the less fashionable (but hipper) end. There are a number of interesting sites located nearby including the United Nations, Gramercy Park, Empire State Building and Grand Central Terminal.
