This theater has been named after Daryl Roth, a leading innovator in the arts. She has been dishing out award-winning productions for nearly two decades. In 1997, she took control of the disheveled Union Square Bank building and transformed it into the Off-Broadway theatre, making it home to De La Guarda, a hit that has been running for over six years. Due to this off-beat nature of the play, the 499-capacity theatre has no seats!
