Soho has many galleries featuring works of contemporary artists in a variety of media. However, some of the "hottest properties" are featured at the Beitzel Gallery. In the past, these have included many paintings on canvas, such as the oils of Sam Messer, rice paper and wood works by Peter Hristoff, and the fascinating photographic studies of Dawoud Bey.
