Dick's is primarily a gay bar, but it is also a place that some straight people may feel comfortable in. A friendly East Village dive, it features cheap drinks and a jukebox playing alternative rock and '70s music, as well as a disco ball and the occasional pornographic movie. More authentic than the Boiler Room, albeit less cool, Dick's is a homey place for aging gay men who fondly yearn for the last days of disco. Cash only.
