This well-known 1960s celebrity haunt still attracts faithful regulars of literary and Hollywood fame. Nobody comes here for the food, but in case you are hungry there is basic Italian fare at upscale prices. However, if you are inclined to complain about the cost of things, you probably will not like it here. Reservations are recommended, but that does not mean you will get seated at one of the better tables. A drink at the bar is a good alternative, and the crowd there can be friendlier.
