At Frico, you will get to feast on Montasio cheese containing potatoes, vegetables, seafood, sausage, mushrooms and other delicious Italian dishes. This circa-1995 bar and restaurant in the Theater District at Manhattan Plaza is owned by Lidia and Joseph Bastianich, who gained their experience with the heralded Felidia and Becco restaurants. Clearly, they know their food and ambience and wisely attracted noted chef Mirko Prando to this site. They also know their wines. Bottles are placed in numerous ceiling-high racks in the bar area to remind the patrons of their availability.
