This popular Upper West Side Japanese sushi restaurant forgoes the serene ambiance of its competition in favor of video monitors, birthday sirens, art deco seats and clubby DJ music. The sushi is always good and fresh; however, overall the food is pretty much the same as at other Japanese restaurants in the area. And beware of the bill-the hip attitude means it is more expensive than those other equally good spots.
