Just when you thought nothing could be done to save the mundane lounge scene, the inventive Chelsea crowd came along and made it their own. G is easily the most swanky and suave of the area's new breed of lounges, and it has an energy and aesthetic that most heterosexual clubs would envy. DJs spin regularly. Cocktails are pricey, and it is cash only. There is a bank machine on the premises however, and a juice bar for all you nondrinkers out there. The prices vary.
