Older than the Brooklyn Bridge, this fine steak and seafood house has recently been restored to its 19th century glory. It features plenty of dark wood, a mahogany and marble topped bar, gaslight chandeliers and white tablecloths, which combine to make lunch or dinner a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There are also great steaks and Southern-accented seafood dinners well worth the ride to Brooklyn. For dessert try the pecan cobbler, a Southern favorite.
