For great dim sum and Peking Duck at affordable prices, you can hardly beat Great Shanghai in Chinatown. This simple, casual and pleasant place has fast, efficient service. The Formica floors and old fish tanks may leave something to be desired, but the restaurant is certainly comfortable and very clean. There is also a private banquet room upstairs suitable for parties. The dim sum plates are wonderful, as are the scallion pancakes, pork with salted vegetables, sauteed rice cakes, and chicken with cashews.
