This slick, 1950s-style hamburger spot serves up favorites like the Rocket Double (two patties, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and special sauce) and modern offerings like the the Streamliner (a vegetable burger with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle and mustard). Since a burger is never complete without fries or onion rings, patrons can choose from classic fries, chili fries or onion rings. Since it is in the heart of New York University country, Johnny Rockets is popular with students as well as other young locals.
