Follow the yellow brick road, or at least follow the yellow brick exterior wall to this landmark gay bar. It has been around since the 1950s, having survived so many turbulent times for the gay population of New York City. The mature, good-natured crowd seems content to relax and enjoy beer and pub food. The rustic decor includes sawdust on the floor and giant, wooden spools that serve as tables. Cash only.
