This Tribeca club features mostly jazz performances, but it also showcases blues and alternative rock shows. There are numerous different rooms in this funky, cavernous space. The main stage showcases popular bands as well as barely known acts. The AlterKnit Theater hosts a weekly poetry open mike. The crowded bar areas are filled with an assortment of interesting people ranging from business types to students, and music is also featured in these smaller spaces at times.
