Watch the chef twirl a bunch of noodles into shape outside this restaurant, the name of which translates as ‘golden dragon'.It is acclaimed for its Chinese preparations, and the proof is in the eating – try out the Cha Chiang Mein, and you'll find yourself coming back for more. Noodles are the specialty of the place, and make sure you slurp them in whole, for its bad luck to break a noodle, according to Chinese superstition. The dripping sauces are finger-licking tasty, and a rich sauté of onions, bean, pork and spices accompany almost every dish. Options include making your own bowl of noodles, and having fun with chopsticks. If you don't prefer pursuing a recalcitrant strand of dough, plough through the meat and chicken dishes, battered in cornstarch and deep-fried to a rich golden-brown.
