In a neighborhood dominated by Polish delis, this restaurant really stands out. Micheal De Prima and Tara Steilen opened this simple joint in front of their catering kitchen in Brooklyn. This restaurant serves popular stuff and is now a favorite for many. Recipes are as original as can be and there is no room for any experimentation out here. The best bets on the menu are Balsamic Chicken, Pallid Pork Medallions with Apples and a variety of pancakes. At Sunday brunch, the crepes and the pepper omelets are to die for. This is a paradise for those who prefer good home-made food. One word of advice - don't judge a dish by just its name, eat it and let the flavor grow on you.
