This restaurant has been on track since it opened in 1979. It was named in honor of the world-class dining car service that began in France exactly a century earlier. Operating out of Bloomingdale's (sixth floor), this bistro is convenient for shoppers and offers good food and service amid an amusing nostalgic train ambience. The fare, in keeping with the name, is Continental. Salads, sandwiches and the Le Train Bleu Beer Battered Shrimp are popular. Other entrees include Veal Scallopine, free range chicken, lamb chops and grilled strip steak.
