Excellent food and outstanding service are constants at this charming and romantic French bistro in Midtown Manhattan. An elegant, longtime favorite of theatergoers, visitors and United Nations diplomats, it has a prix fixe menu that includes free-flowing wine. The prices are high, but the excellent service, ambiance and food make the dining experience a pleasure. This is an attractive, interesting and old-fashioned place. Roasted duck with raspberries and wild rice, and filet mignon with bearnaise sauce are two popular entrees.
