With low prices, excellent service, a delicious and varied menu and a comfortable yet quirky atmosphere, this Ukranian restaurant offers a great deal to patrons. Pierogis, endive and watercress salad, and a chicken with egg noodle soup are popular starters. Entrees of note include slow-roasted chicken spiced with sage and lemongrass, shrimp cakes on mixed greens with remoulade, and a simple but tasty meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. Spaetzle and goat cheese polenta make excellent side dishes.
