Trot down to Little Giant, located on the Lower East Side, for an authentic American meal. It's hard to believe that the place was set up on a shoestring budget, because the decor is quite classy. The everchanging menu is 'Seasonal American' and features items that are freshly available in the market. With a nice bar, this small restaurant also is the perfect place to grab that afterwork refresher. Otherwise, stop by for Sausages and Corned Beef or even Milk and Cookies - it doesn't get more American than this.
