This popular spot is often packed with artistic types. On weekends it loses some of its personality, but on weeknights it is still the same cool spot. The front bar area is a great place for a drink, but if you want to get away from the crowd grab a table in the dining room. There is also a lovely garden. The bar food is inexpensive for the neighborhood but quite good. Try the warm apple and goat cheese salad, or the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes.
