This Lower East Side bar gives off an element of danger, and many of the regulars are perpetually in a bad mood. But if you sit in a corner and mind your own business, it is possible to relax and admire the interesting décor of chrome accents, leather booths and 1950s biker signs. The crowd of aging rockers and washed up Hell's Angels members smokes a lot, which adds to the vintage feel. The drinks are strong and affordable, with a good selection of American beers on tap. Only cash is accepted.
