This is New York's premier film event, established in 1963. The festival includes works of top tier national and foreign directors such as Woody Allen, Martin Scorcese and Francois Truffaut, as well as works from lesser-known filmmakers such as Bill Condon, and Paolo and Vittorio Taviani.
