In 1963, original Jets owner Leon Hess purchased a failing football team called the New York Titans. He renamed the team, and in 1969 the Jets won their only Super Bowl title. The team has since moved to Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ (also home to the New York Giants football team), but most people still consider the Jets to be a New York team. Tickets are next to impossible to get, but you can always watch the game on television.
