Parma is an exceptional restaurant on the Upper East Side that specializes in the popular dishes of Northern Italy. Best known for its delicious pasta and flavorful sauces, it excels as well in its hearty vegetarian, veal, chicken and seafood entrees. The decor is simple and a bit old fashioned, but the longtime patrons are content. Spaghetti Carbonara, ravioli stuffed with meat, Chicken Parmesan and Veal Scaloppini are favorites. There is Ricotta Cheesecake and other Italian favorites for dessert.
