This French restaurant in SoHo specializes in seafood cooked in true Provencal style. It is pricey and somewhat noisy, but the service and food are excellent. Decor is bistro style-simple with antiques and chandeliers inside and the pulse of Sixth Avenue outside. Broiled bass, snapper, salmon, chilled shellfish and sautéed shrimp are favorite dinner entrees; try the lobster on country bread for lunch. There is also a good wine selection. Jazz is performed on Sundays and outside seating is available in season.
