This West Village restaurant is a basement-level recreation of a Tuscan farmhouse, offering simple and hearty cuisine. Piadina are a specialty of Italy's Emilia Romagna region. The thin flatbread is cooked on an earthenware plate and served with prosciutto, cheese and arugula, making a sandwich of sorts. Entrees include Italian favorites like Chicken Cacciatore, linguine in oil and garlic, cheese ravioli, or the recommended seared ahi tuna. The wine list is regional and inexpensive.
