This legendary little dance dive in the East Village hosts some of the best '80s nights in the city. On Thursday Remission and Friday 1984, you will hear plenty of New Order, Depeche Mode, Bauhaus and Roxy Music (no New Kids on the Block, thank you very much.) The fun-loving crowd is a mixture of gays and straights, some of whom danced here when the music was new. Many younger people are discovering the scene for the first time. Only cash is accepted and the admission fee varies.
