Red Bench is so dark that it is difficult to describe the interiors, except to say that there are candles, benches, small tables and of course, a padded red bench. The mostly youngish crowd is an eclectic group of sophisticated downtowners, along with people who want to be like them; they all come here to drink and commiserate. Given the darkness, it also has a very romantic feel. However, the music can get pretty loud at night.
