The food and the service in this formal, split-level Northern Italian restaurant are first-rate, and the decor is sophisticated, traditional and elegant. Seafood is the specialty and is fresh, flavorful, varied and beautifully presented - Maine Lobster Rossini and Shrimp Scampi alla Rossini are popular, along with the mussel soup. The veal, beef, chicken and chops are also noteworthy. Patrons like to start with an antipasti selection or the excellent Caesar salad. Opera is performed nightly, and Saturday night there is an operatic trio.
