This former warehouse, located on a still desolate block on the far west side of Chelsea, has been a fixture in New York's club scene since the early 1980s. It is still one of the best of the city's super-sized clubs, and it is a coveted venue for the world's greatest DJs. Saturdays at the Roxy are a legend worldwide for the music and the stable of gorgeous male go-go dancers. Cover charges usually average around $10 for (yes) roller skating on weekdays, and $20 for dancing on weekends.
